What is a wicca love spell?

Wicca, a modern pagan witchcraft tradition, is known for its reverence for nature, connection to the elements, and the practice of spellcraft. Within the realm of Wicca, love spells are a common and intriguing aspect of magical practice. In this article, we will explore the fascinating world of Wicca love spells, their history, techniques, ethical considerations, and the belief system that underpins these mystical rituals.I also recommend reading the article https://magical-rituals.com/blog/2023/06/20/how-to-cast-an-effective-love-spell/

Wicca: A Brief Overview

Wicca, often referred to as Witchcraft, is a contemporary pagan religious movement that emerged in the mid-20th century. It draws inspiration from ancient pagan and folk traditions, as well as the writings of Gerald Gardner and Doreen Valiente, who played key roles in its development. Wiccans typically worship a goddess and god, honor the cycles of nature, and adhere to a moral code known as the Wiccan Rede, which emphasizes "An it harm none, do what ye will."

Wicca and Spellcraft

Central to Wicca is the practice of spellcraft, which encompasses a wide range of magical rituals and spells for various purposes. Spells in Wicca are seen as a means to manifest one's intentions, connect with the natural world, and attune to the energies of the universe. Love spells are a popular subset of Wiccan spellcraft, designed to attract love, enhance existing relationships, or promote self-love.

The Beliefs Behind Wicca Love Spells

Before delving into the specifics of Wicca love spells, it's important to understand the belief system that underpins them:

  1. Connection to Nature: Wiccans believe in the interconnectedness of all living things and the natural world. Love spells in Wicca often incorporate elements from nature, such as herbs, flowers, crystals, and the phases of the moon.

  2. Respect for Free Will: Ethical considerations are central to Wiccan practice. Wiccans emphasize that love spells should never be used to manipulate or control the free will of others. The ethical use of magic is a fundamental principle.

  3. Positive Intentions: Love spells in Wicca are meant to be cast with positive and loving intentions. They are not designed to harm or coerce but to create opportunities for love, healing, and connection.

Types of Wicca Love Spells

Wicca encompasses a wide variety of love spells, each tailored to different intentions and needs. Some common types of Wicca love spells include:

  1. Attraction Spells: These spells are designed to draw love into one's life. They may involve the use of candles, herbs, and crystals to amplify attraction energies.

  2. Enhancement Spells: Enhancement spells are used to deepen and strengthen existing relationships. They focus on qualities such as trust, communication, and intimacy.

  3. Self-Love Spells: Self-love is considered a prerequisite for healthy relationships. These spells aim to boost self-esteem, self-acceptance, and self-worth.

  4. Healing Spells: Healing spells are used to mend emotional wounds caused by past relationships or traumas. They promote emotional healing and growth.

  5. Protection Spells: In addition to attracting love, Wiccans often cast protection spells to shield their relationships from negative influences or external harm.

Performing a Wicca Love Spell

While the specifics of Wicca love spells can vary widely, here is a general outline of how one might be performed:

  1. Set Your Intention: Clarify your intention for the love spell. Be specific about the type of love you seek and ensure that your desire aligns with the principles of love, respect, and free will.

  2. Select Your Tools: Choose the tools and materials you will need for your spell, such as candles, herbs, crystals, and other symbolic items that resonate with your intention.

  3. Casting the Circle: Wiccans often cast a sacred circle to create a consecrated and protected space for their spellwork. This involves visualizing a sphere of energy around you.

  4. Invocation: Invoke the divine forces or deities you wish to work with, such as the goddess and god of your tradition. Seek their guidance, blessings, and assistance in your spell.

  5. Ritual and Visualization: Perform your chosen ritual, which may include lighting candles, burning herbs, or arranging crystals in a sacred pattern. As you do so, visualize your intention with clarity and emotion, feeling as if it has already manifested.

  6. Chants or Incantations: Recite chants or incantations that align with your intention. These may be written by you or borrowed from Wiccan texts and traditions.

  7. Energy Release: When your energy has reached its peak, release it into the universe, trusting that it will manifest your desire. This may involve a symbolic gesture, such as blowing out a candle.

  8. Grounding and Closing the Circle: Ground yourself by visualizing excess energy returning to the Earth. Then, close the sacred circle, thanking the divine forces for their presence and assistance.

Ethical Considerations

Wiccans place a strong emphasis on ethics and responsible use of magic. When it comes to love spells, it's essential to consider the following ethical principles:

  1. Respect for Free Will: Love spells should never infringe upon the free will of others. Attempting to manipulate or control someone's feelings or actions without their consent goes against the Wiccan Rede and ethical principles.

  2. Harm None: Love spells should be cast with the intention of causing no harm to any party involved, including oneself. They should promote love, healing, and positive change.

  3. Personal Responsibility: Wiccans believe in personal responsibility for one's actions and their consequences. Practitioners are encouraged to take responsibility for their choices and the effects of their spells.

  4. Self-Reflection: Before casting a love spell, self-reflection is important. Consider whether your desire for love aligns with your personal growth and well-being.

Conclusion

Wicca love spells are a captivating aspect of Wiccan practice, blending nature reverence, symbolism, and positive intentions to manifest love and connection. When performed with mindfulness, ethical considerations, and respect for free will, these spells can be a powerful tool for those seeking to attract love, strengthen relationships, or promote self-love and healing.

Ultimately, Wicca love spells remind us of the profound connection between magic and the human heart, offering a glimpse into the mystical world of the craft and its capacity to transform the realm of love and relationships.

How do you give power to an amulet?

Before using an amulet, two important steps must be performed over it. We are talking about purifying the amulet in terms of energy and giving it power . If we entrust this task to a person with innate esoteric abilities, we can be sure of the power of our amulet or talisman. Nevertheless, we can do this task ourselves. However, it requires a great deal of concentration and working with energy.

There is a way of cleansing an amulet, especially recommended for people with little experience, in the sphere of esotericism. It is the cleansing of an amulet by means of visualisation and the assigned element with which we are most connected. The first step is to symbolically activate that element. In the case of the element of fire, we are to light a candle. Then we have to take the object to be purified in both hands and hold it over the flame for some time (be careful of the distance of the flame from our hands!) In general, the future amulet has to be exposed to the element of our choice (immersed in water, incense, then rubbed with wind or sprinkled with earth). One has to imagine (visualise) how, already after purification, the energy of the held object is replaced by the energy of the chosen element.

The next step is to empower or sacralise the amulet.

Conferring power to an amulet can take many forms, from the very complicated to the simplest formula. Simply energising the amulet is equally effective. The most important thing is that this should take place during the full moon (possibly during the phase of the incoming moon). On the other hand, it is advisable not to activate the amulet during the new moon phase or when the moon is "waning".
During the full moon, sit still, relaxed and relaxed. Then draw or imagine (visualise) yourself in this circle. Take the amulet in your hand in such a way that you touch it with all your fingers and visualise yourself sending your energy to it. Continue in this way in concentration for some time, until you feel that the object has become saturated with your pure energy. Then it is time to relax and loosen the fingers (fingers may ache).
In the hand we hold our own energised amulet, ready for action.

What is chiromancy?

Chiromancy is, in other words, the art of reading information from the palm of the hand concerning a person's character and predisposition. The oldest surviving records on this subject date back five thousand years, in what is now China, India and the Middle East in general. The Chinese took this area quite seriously, treating palm lines as a kind of bodily document for interpretation. It is also highly probable that the Indians used it to investigate the secrets of human characters. It is also possible that they were trying to find out the causes of possible illnesses. The Babylonians and ancient Egyptians tried to predict future events from the arrangement of lines on the inside of the hand. They drew these conclusions by noticing the similarity of the lines to the arrangement of the stars on the celestial vault. This is where the names of the individual line patterns, which are still used today, originate from astrology.

Today, the art of human palm reading is not recognised in the scientific world. This makes it all the more surprising that, almost until the end of the 18th century, it was a widely respected and widespread branch of knowledge. It was treated on a par with other areas of science and taught as a subject at many universities.

In chiromancy, a division has been adopted according to which the left hand is a carrier of information that we have inherited as part of our genetic heritage from our near and distant ancestors. It is supposed to indicate things that are somehow already established, determined, over which one has no direct influence. According to some, it is possible to deduce from the palm of the hand what talents a person has, as well as his or her approximate intelligence quotient, and even how many people he or she will give life to in the future. The right hand, on the other hand, supposedly shows our life in its active form, that is, how we influence it. It can in some way relate to our choices, how we live. With certainty, it reveals our every failing against a healthy and sustainable way of living. A skilled palm reader's eye can deduce a developing disease in someone's body before it gives concrete physical symptoms.

Lifeline
It is probably the best known and recognised of all the palm lines. For obvious reasons, it arouses the most interest. This line is supposed to indicate what condition we are in physically. Contrary to what first comes to mind, it does not predict actual life expectancy, and it is not at all about the actual size of the line on our hand. Instead, it can be used to read the intensity of our existence, which, as we know, leaves its mark on our body. A broken lifeline means that one's life has undergone many changes to which one has had to adapt. A short and wide lifeline, on the other hand, would indicate a very dynamic existence, unfortunately plagued from time to time by illness.

Headline
It can begin in the same place as the lifeline. The head line, as its term indicates, points to a person's intellectual sphere. It can also inform about invention, a tendency to think abstractly or how energetic and pivotal a person is in getting things done.

 Heart line
It is responsible for emotions, and its shape and course are said to show the permanence and intensity of feelings. A very long heart line indicates the likelihood of a tendency towards hypersensitivity and jealousy. A straight heart line would indicate a tendency to withdraw into oneself.

Destiny line
Supposedly provides news of significant events in one's life and indicates the extent to which one will be happy. A short destiny line is said to represent a difficult but happy life, while an intermittent one suggests various afflictions in life.

Marriage line
(Also called the contact line) tells us whether we are destined to form a lasting relationship and supposedly how attached we will be to our partner.

Sun line
This is also called the line of good luck, the line of happiness or the line of talents. It starts at the bottom of the palm and continues towards the hill of the Sun, located at the base of the ring finger. The Sun line informs us of a person's talents, tastes, luck, success in life and sensitivity.

Health line
Begins under the little finger and runs diagonally towards the wrist of the hand. Based on the appearance of the health line, the trained eye of the chiromancer can deduce the current physical state of the person under examination. Apparently, from this line it is also possible to deduce something about the intellectual capacity of the holder of the examined hand.

Intuition (gut feeling) line
The intuition line is not present on every hand, which does not mean that people without the intuition line do not have premonitions at all. It is more often found on the palm of a woman's hand. The intuition line is said to signify a vivid imagination combined with a sharp and receptive mind, sensitivity, and decisiveness in action. To the qualities mentioned, it is also worth adding consistency in pursuing one's goals and persistence, a lively mind, sensitivity, decisiveness in action and stubbornness in pursuing one's goals.

Milky Way
This is a line of lesser importance than the ones presented so far, but it perfectly complements the general characteristics of a person's personality. The line of the Milky Way starts at the bottom of the hand and runs parallel to the wrist, more precisely to the line of the ascetic. It indicates creativity in the general sphere and invention in the intimate sphere. This line is typical of artists and creators. It is sometimes not found on every hand.

The magical symbolism of flowers

Flowers - one could call them the most subtle of messengers - by their very appearance, delicacy and finesse, they arouse feelings in the recipient. It would seem that nothing but the fragrance attributed to them can emphasise their charm more. However, man, a very clever creature, has given some of them additional attributes, and assigned secret meanings to all of them. Don't believe it? Find out by reading on. Here are just some of the inhabitants of the incredibly diverse flower world:

Anemone - according to legend was created from the body of the tragically deceased lover of the goddess Venus - Adonis. In the mysterious language of floristics, it means, among other things, attachment to someone's soul mate, to whom it is usually given.

The pansy is said to have been, in his lifetime, the good and sensitive son of an exceptionally cruel heir. He was supposedly killed when he took a stand for his oppressed subjects, which provoked a fit of anger in his parent. The clearing where he was buried was very quickly covered with these flowers. In florist-speak, it symbolises delicacy

Imperial crown - was also said to be the only flower that refused to bow to the suffering Christ, heading for the place of execution. It was only with another, harsher glance that the flower became 'ashamed', burned with a blush, i.e. took on a more intense colour, and laid its petals down like a frightened horse's ears. This unusual appearance has remained with it to this day.

The chrysanthemum - according to stories from Japanese culture, is the flower of eternal undying love, and each of its many petals is said to signify one year spent together by the lovers. With us, too, in the secret language of flowers, it points to eternity. The white chrysanthemum is supposed to assure someone that the giver still has warm feelings for her. The yellow chrysanthemum suggests jealousy rather than love.

The cyclamen heralds the final end of love and an inevitable parting.

Chicory - the blue petals of the chicory are said to silently tell of the misfortune of a girl whose heart has burst with grief after the death of her beloved in distant lands.

The violet is said to have been created from the tears of Adam, in despair over the loss of Paradise. It is a sign of modesty and the quiet but strong feelings the giver has for the recipient.

Hyacinth - named for the six young men who fell victim to the jealous and possessive love of Zephyr, the Greek god of the wind. Zephyr, whose favour Hyacinth rejected, choosing Apollo, took revenge on both lovers. While they were practising a discus throw, Zephyr directed the air currents in such a way that the said disc struck Hyacinth, causing wounds that proved fatal. The distraught Apollo turned the drops of his beloved's blood into a flower that made both the name and the sad story famous.

Mistletoe - it is definitely a plant with a positive, not to say kissable, message. It too derives from myths, evoking the joy of one of the goddesses, Freya, upon regaining her son, whom she managed to resurrect after three days of effort. The legends say that Freya offered a kiss to every person she met for three days after this event. People found that it would probably be nice to continue this friendly gesture. Thus, the custom was born whereby we can offer or steal a kiss from someone if we spot even a sprig of mistletoe nearby.

Lily of the valley - symbolises delicacy and beauty, and can be given to someone who has captivated us with their outer and inner beauty.

Lily - stands for beauty and dignity. It was one of the royal symbols in France.

Lotus - in India it is believed to have arisen from the blood of the gods, and is a symbol of harmony, beauty, perfection. The lotus flower is readily used as an image to show the beauty of the balanced state of mind that can be achieved through meditation. In the voyages of Odysseus, eating the lotus flower caused a complete loss of memory and no desire to return to his former life. There are references to the lotus flower as a term for one of the positions in yoga and intimate living.

The forget-me-not is meaningfully the opposite of the lotus. It is meant to be a constant reminder that the one who received the forget-me-not is someone very important to the giver.

Rose - beautiful, subtle, romantically elegant depending on the colour, it can be a messenger of fiery love (red), shy behind an invitation to it (white) a subtle suggestion in the style of: I like you (teal). There are about seven thousand varieties of roses. The Persians had an exceptional love for these flowers and even established a Rose Day.

The legendary fern flower, popular in the folklore of our lands, cannot fail to be mentioned here. Finding it on Midsummer's Night was a guarantee that your fondest desires would be fulfilled. Who knows, perhaps it is even better that the fern flower does not want to be found? It is also known that it is within ourselves that we are to look for the inspiration to realise our innermost dreams.

Flowers are a beautiful gift from nature, a wonderful excuse to assure others of our affection. All we need to do is to choose a fragrant gift appropriate to the occasion. If you are unsure of the choice, you can rely on a florist for this. Flowers are timeless ambassadors of affection: although they are silent on their own, they are sometimes enough for a thousand words.

What is Kabbalah?

Kabbalah, what is it really? It is possible that someone once heard: "Well, that's quite a Kabbalah" or even differently: "Bet you a kabbalah?" In the first case, someone probably had in mind a problem or difficulty that someone was facing. To bet someone a Kabbalah colloquially means to lay out the cards, as in solitaire, and make a fortune. There are several different (invented) interpretations of the unfolded cards that can be found on the Internet. This information does not have to be taken seriously, but rather as something we look at with a so-called wink. However, it is true that the occult Kabbalah was used for magical, divination purposes.

What is the Kabbalah really? Well, the Kabbalah was originally a certain strand of mystical thinking. In its basic version, it is concerned with ways of translating, explaining the text of the first few books of the Old Testament, but not only. The next level of initiation is an approach more related to esotericism, and more specifically to an esoteric method of treating Old Testament texts. Particularly useful in this was gematria, the study of additional hidden meanings of words, related to their numerical value. And here a tiny word of explanation: the individual letters of the Hebrew alphabet were assigned numerals. These are, respectively: 1 to 9 (the first nine letters), full tens (the next ten letters) and 100, 200, 300 and 400 (corresponding to the last three letters). Here is an example of gematria in practice:The description of the creation of the world in Hebrew in the first book of the Bible has 434 words, and the word "delet", meaning door in Hebrew, has exactly the same numerical value. The (rabbis') allegorical explanation is that the description of the creation of the world represents a 'door' to understanding the Bible in general.Other practices relevant to the field of Kabbalah were temura and notarikon. Temura (Hebrew for 'transformation') involves rearranging the letters in a word so that a given letter corresponds to the preceding or following letter. This was used, among other things, to meditate on the nature and terms of God. Notarikon, on the other hand, is a method of developing the initial or final letters of a word into specific sentences. Both methods were used for mystical meditation, meditating on sacred texts. It was meant to enrich, to enlighten the soul of the reader (meditator), so that he or she would discover the additional meaning of the message hidden in these texts.
Other important texts for Kabbalists are the books of Sefer Yitzir, the Book of Creation, as well as the Zohar, which deals with the attributes of God, and the writings of other mystics such as the Sephardic, Zaragoza-based Abraham Abulafia and Isaac Luria. It is possible that notarikon in particular was used to create and explain prophecies based on sacred texts. In this way, the texts were linked in some way to an attempt to predict the future. Perhaps in this lies the seed of an occult branch of the Kabbalah that also served divination?

The mysticism of the Kabbalah was for a long time somehow hidden from the common man, passed on in closed circles from master to disciple. Something quite different was the Hasidic movement, once very widespread in Poland, present-day Ukraine or the former lands of Galicia. The essence of Hasidism was not intellectual deliberation, but seeking contact with the Most High through joyful, often ecstatic dancing and singing. This, too, was a form of prayer. Hasidism was very popular especially among the poor, uneducated followers of El-Shaddai, the Almighty. And here is how He was referred to in the mystical book Sefer Jecira:

"Yah, Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel, the Living God and King of the World, El Shaddai the Loving and Merciful, the High and Sublime, the Dweller on High and the Holy One - His Name".

Few probably know that the concepts associated with the Kabbalah have their relevance in contemporary culture, literature and film. How is this possible? Well, in hidden Kabbalistic symbolism, the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet brought to mind a golem. Who (or what) was a golem? It was a human-like creature made of earth, but without a soul. It was supposed to be animated by the letters of the divine Name, written on a piece of parchment and placed in its mouth. This is consistent with one of the tenets of the Kabbalah. It went something like this: if God creates by speaking, a mystic immersed in the Divine Spirit can do the same. This is the origin of the magic phrase we all know: abracadabra. Yes, the seemingly 'familiar' abracadabra derives from the Aramaic language, where avra k'davra means: "saying-I create".
But let us return to the golem. According to legends and tales, such a creature could move and obey commands, but was supposed to be blindly obedient to the man who directed it. An early European form of zombie, you might say, wouldn't you? In one of the more contemporary stories, such a zombie rebels against its human 'creator', and is so strong and aggressive that the only way to avoid general disaster is to destroy it. Doesn't the character of Frankenstein from Mary Shelley's Gothic novel come to mind somewhat at this point?

Cabalistic motifs can also be found in the works of Franz Kafka, Isaac Bashevis Singer and, from our native backyard, in the works of Bruno Schulz, author of The Cinnamon Shops and The Hourglass Sanatorium.
As far as films are concerned, Jan Potocki's "Rękopis znaleziony w Saragossie", directed by Wojciech Jerzy Hass (1964), has become a classic of Polish cinema. There, too, one can easily find references to the Kabbalah, both in the book and its film adaptation.
The Kabbalah is (or seems to be in its most commercial edition) also an inspiration for many quite contemporary artists of the music scene and beyond. The interest in the Kabbalah by many celebrities can be cited here. These include: Madonna, Demi Moore, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and, closer to home, Kayah, Otylia Jędrzejczak or Maryla Rodowicz, and more recently (probably) Małgorzata Kożuchowska. I just wonder if tying a red thread on their wrist has brought about some kind of spiritual revolution in them? The question of inner transformation is interestingly put by contemporary exponent Michael Laitman: "The path of Kabbalah is a long, difficult process of redefining the goals in a person's life, of reassessing oneself, of clearly defining the direction of a person's desires."
As a separate strand of mysticism, it has lived to see many studies. If anyone reading this text feels an inner need for further spiritual education, that is great. If you wish to learn more about the history and development of the Kabbalah, you will easily find information in both printed and electronic form. One only has to wish for perseverance in reading.

Sleep position and personality

An old proverb states: "The king sleeps on his back, the wise man on his side, the rich man on his stomach".

It is common for feisty people with a strong sense of self-worth to sleep on their backs, which can sometimes appear arrogant. Laying on one's back in sleep with the thighs folded down can indicate openness not only in the sexual sphere, but also in life in general. For health reasons, sleeping on the back promotes general relaxation and looseness of the whole body, but sleeping on the back also intensifies snoring.

We are happy to sleep on our side. It seems that the fetal position is chosen by anxious, closed-in people. It is a silent signal under the title 'I need support'. A head covered by a pillow represents anxiety about the future. The most favourable position is with an upright posture and slightly bent knees. This is how well-balanced people with high adaptive potential lie down. Sleeping on the left side is beneficial for people who work hard physically, facilitates digestion, while sleeping on the right side provides relief from liver problems. Cardiac patients should probably not sleep on their left side.

Sleeping on the stomach indicates people with a tendency to dominate, to control their surroundings, and the deeper the relationship, the easier it is to control others.

Legs exposed beyond the level of the bed may indicate a desire for change, legs crossed - may indicate inhibitions in dealing with other people, legs bent at the knees and extended forward - aggression.

Hands clenched into a fist are a sign of aggression and defence, hands grasping parts of the bed - looking for support from others, hands placed oppositely to each other is a sign of inner dilemma.

The position in which lovers sleep can say something about their relationship.
Couples like to fall asleep in the spoon position. The partners lie, each on the same side in a semi-fetal position closely side by side, like two teaspoons next to each other, hence the name. Their heads face the same way, their arms embrace their partner and sometimes their hands rest on the other half's intimate area. If the man lies at the back, this indicates his dominance in the relationship, while when the woman lies at the back, it indicates her leadership, (over)caring or commitment.

A very intimate sleeping position is the one called the embrace. The partners lie opposite each other each on a different side, facing each other and having their legs intertwined. This arrangement indicates great passion in the relationship. A certain emotional distance between the lovers reflects the fact that they are seeking their own micro-spaces in bed. This does not indicate a weakening of their feelings, but rather a decrease in sexual activity and a mutual trust and sense of security. A sudden change of position may indicate some sort of sleep nightmare, slight physical discomfort, or some sort of change of emotion. During sleep, communication between partners takes the form of body talk.

A few words about amulets and talismans

The wearing of amulets has a very old tradition. This custom has been known almost since the beginning of human cultures. Amulets were very widespread, as archaeological finds from different periods of ancient history, scattered all over the world, testify. People simply felt safer carrying a small object that they believed brought good luck.
We do the same, taking something 'lucky' with us to give us a boost before an important and extremely stressful event. It could be an important test, a driving test or a university exam, or a job interview on which it depends whether we get our dream job. In such cases, the task of the amulet is to raise our self-confidence, to strengthen the positive attitude, the source of which is within ourselves.

With amulets and talismans in earlier times (and possibly not only in earlier times) it is a little different. It is believed that their influence is related to what, when and for whom they were created (or made). Amulets, unlike talismans, are objects of natural origin. It is possible to select an amulet suitable for everyone by choosing objects, trinkets made of precious stones. This is because there are connections between precious stones and the various Zodiac signs (this information can be found on the home page, next to each Zodiac sign in the article "how to attract luck") .

Amulets are supposed to protect the owner from, among other things:
- evil spirits,
- bad people
- misfortunes
- accidents
- diseases
- thefts
- elements

It is said that an amulet is meant to guard against bad influences (or charms), while a talisman is meant to attract positive aspects

Talisman
The term talisman is derived from the Persian tilisman, the Greek telesma 'consecrated object' and the Arabic tilaasm 'magical image'.
Talismans are prepared over many days or weeks, according to strict rules. It is also necessary to follow the recommendations regarding the place and the period in which the talisman is made (this is about the effect of the phases of the moon on the talisman being made). Various aspects of astrology, numerology or Kabbalah are also important. Talismans come in many forms. In ancient times, they most often took the form of so-called sigils. A single si gil (from the Latin sigillum - "seal") is a sign created for a specific magical purpose. In ancient times, they were drawn on parchment or paper (sometimes engraved in metal or stone), and positive powers were summoned then. Sigils are transmitters of magical power that focus power within themselves like a lens of light. They refer to broader aspects of power and were made according to the requirements of secret knowledge, so they have a greater impact than ordinary pendants. A sigil should be worn with you, preferably in your pocket, as its essence is to act, not to adorn the owner. Everything concerning the creation of sigils is specified in a secret Book of Magic, and its secrets are closely guarded and available only to the initiated.

As such, talismans are meant to attract good luck, but it is better when their actions are focused on a specific area of life and a specified purpose. They may relate to, for example:
- finding the perfect partner
- good luck with the opposite sex
- getting a job
- career
- wealth
- increased chances of winning games of chance (the probability of winning the lotto increases by more than three thousand times)
- good relationships within the family
- quit smoking and alcohol
- fight against being overweight, leading to obesity
- fight depression
- gaining more self-confidence

A talisman should be as personalised as possible. This means that it should be created for one particular person. It will then have a much stronger effect on the bearer than generally available talismans. The causal powers of the talisman will concentrate on one person. Every person is different, lives in a different environment, has a unique character assigned to him or her. His destiny is also different, just as the astral systems were different when each of us was born. Some will be favoured by a power spell relating to the element of water, others by a spell relating to the element of fire. The realm of spiritual and astral influences is very dynamic and individualised. What has a positive effect on some will have a negative effect on others. The best solution, therefore, is a personal talisman subjected to a sacralisation process by a magic practitioner.
